Occupational therapy
An Early Intervention Occupational Therapist can work with children to support development of skills in a range of areas including fine motor, play, self-care and emotional regulation.
Our OT currently provides services in the following areas:
Occupational Therapy consults for children who have a key worker at Leaps and Bounds children's therapy. Consults can provide strategies to support development of play skills, fine motor skills, self care skills including toileting and sleep, emotional regulation and sensory strategies.
Manual handling assessment, recommendations and training
Assessment and funding applications for paediatric equipment including seating, strollers, wheelchairs, hoists, and shower or toilet seats
